Two Little Angels

Ok y'all, I had en entirely different post scheduled today but that will wait, because I need to share with you something that has just melted my heart! 

Meet the most precious family ever. 

I told ya, adorbs right? Right. 

I danced with Laura growing up, and we have stayed mutual friends over the years, and I just think she is just the cutest thing I have ever seen. Oh AND we were nursery babies together, we have the same birthday and were roomies in the same hospital nursery. We ran that place ;)

Well anyway, guess who just got blessed with not one, but two sweet perfect baby angels? This girl. 

How freaking adorable is she? It looks like she just said, "oh yeah, I think I'll go have twins today, no sweat." GORGEOUS I say! 

Are these not the cutest things you have ever seen? Well I just can't wait to meet them, especially since I made miss babygirl Leighton a bunch of PinkLouLou bows! woo hoo! 

Anyways, Laura, you are adorable, and are just going to be a WONDERFUL mommy. xoxo can't wait to get my hands on those bebes!! Sorry for creepily stealing your pics off facey, but I just couldn't help myself! Hey, we were in diapers together, it's cool right? ;) haha

Weekend Wedding Showers and MAKEUP talk!

'ello lovelies. 

I had back to back wedding showers this weekend, standard. Super fun, but the festivities left me for a super sleepy girl on Sunday. I may or may not have gone to bed at 9. FACT. 

We partied over at 'Club Hacker' on Friday night, successfully turning my dear friend Courtney's garage into a full on dance party. Success, I do say.

Somewhere after a few cocktails I thought it would be hysterical to start a rumor Caroline was 12 weeks preggo with an eggo. Her hubby didn't think this was so funny. ;) 

And if you are wondering what Caroline is holding, that would be the ribbon Bouquet I fashioned up for the bride for her rehearsal. Do y'all do that? We do! You make a bouquet out of her shower ribbons and she carries it down the aisle at her rehearsal. 

Fun bonus idea? Write a sweet something on the back!

Probably MY most exciting news of the weekend, I mastered the Carrie Underwood Kandee Johnson tutorial, woop woop! 

I wanted some new eye makeup ideas and I have to say, I surprised myself and did pretty darn well! I LOVE the eyeliner tricks she taught in this video and I got tres compliments on my eyes this weekend! ;)

Thursday Night Live

Let us discuss. 

Every year when the weather gets warm a phenomenon known as Thursday Night Live, TNL takes place in downtown Lexington. Live music, food, cocktails, square of bars all packed, perfection right? Right. But you see the problem there in lies that I am like that kid's book, if you give a mouse a cookie... he's gonna ask for another one, and probably a glass of milk. 

Well, put me outside in the pretty warm weather with a cold brew and my girlfriends and i wanna stay out all night. I was definitely eating pizza at 2 am last night. WOOPS. ;) hey I was at work this morning showered and ready to go on TIME. points for Moi. 

I did however need some advil.

And please do not comment on the fact I am growing a small mullet. I can't help it. It's the curse of the thin hair. Hence why I sport a weave. 

How about the earrings? 

OK, they are BOTH Chrissy's. Thanks Chris ;) I stealed them. 

On to my next point, I feel as though I need to make a little public service announcement.

Today I found this out the hard way. Please understand the sheer horror I experienced when i took a big ole drink at 8 am, and SPIT it out everywhere in the garage.

Contacts ARE your friend, and you should put them in BEFORE grabbing a tasty bevie first thing when you wake up. Especially after a late night of cocktailing with your fabuloso girlfriends.

I almost thought I was being Punk*d, but turns out I am just an idiot.

The new office... slightly overdue.

Well girls, it wasn't long ago I was crammed in a hell hole temporary office building with no windows for four months. Talk about depression, I was not a happy girl. I am not really sure why i even showered in the morning to come sit in a makeshift storage room office with my three work besties. It was miz to say the least. BUT we moved offices recently {insert angel chorus} and I have yet to show you our new diggs!

So without further adieu, and I beg you, please don't get too excited- here is my new office space.

I haven't had a chance to do a whole "re-do" if you will, and my boss's exact words to me were "Let's wait to 'fluff' our areas until after the board leaves, mkay?" haha ;)

So here is where I spend my days...

Now I absolutely believe this... 

Let's take a gander inside drawer #1 shall we? Just your everyday must have items. You KNOW I have everything we might need, in case of an emergency of course. 

I keep my desk super clean, I HATE clutter, and I HATE papers sitting around. Yuck. 

My quick glance make-up check mirror 

Here is my lovely computer. I keep my desktop clutter free as well, I don't like files just hanging out. Drives me mad. 

So yes, I have a fan. I hate being hot. And on the flip side- I also have a snuggie. Not kidding. This morning i was freezing. I have learned to adapt to my surroundings quite well. 

Back to my desk, here is the other side. Just some pics to make me smile, and my favorite quote from SATC, you know the one about mistakes shaping our fate yada yada. Thanks Kris my little boo bear for sending me that. 

And then we have my other drawers, which I commandeered from an empty cubie. These will remain in my clutches until someone realizes I have absconded with them. 

Ands last but not least, the sales team little patio, which shall henceforth be known as my little sun deck. Perfect for lunch time sunning, gossiping, eating... cocktailing? no? 

Hope you enjoyed my little office tour, sorry it wasn't more exciting. I need to plan a re-do, I am getting sick of this pink and black. 

PS almost everything on my desk came from Hobby Lobby in some form or fashion.

the funniest weekend ever

Well girls, my stomach muscles hurt from laughing. You are in for a treat, because I caught numerous parts of the weekend on film. 

Friday night I went to Carol's.

By the end of the night I was comfortably fit in a pet habitat. Carol is a crazy cat lady, and apparently after a few glasses of vino, this seemed like a good idea. Please see the cat condo below. And yes that is my LEG in front of my head. 

Bahahahaha. Hahaha. 

Soooo then the next morning I wake up and get a call from my dearest Chrissy, and she says that I need to come get her and take her to the eye doctor. She slept in her contacts and ripped part of her cornea off when taking them out. NOT fun, hurts like a motha. 

While Chrissy was getting fixed up, Leah and I proceed to buy her an eyepatch. Insisting that she wear it to lunch. 

And she did. 

After the eye doctor adventure, we went to Harry's for lunch... and stayed for 7 hours. 

After lunch, and dinner at Harry's, the girls and I decided we needed to get some more wine. And that is when I peed my pants in the Liquor Barn. 

I have never laughed so much in my life.
