Are you not obsessed? Because I am. Cannot WAIT to wear. Someone asked me the other day where to get a blue scarf... well BAM. Here you go. It is PERFECT for UK games.

I love the brown too, it is a thicker material. More like a scarf, not a pashmina (sp? IONO...) . LOVE the brown and cream, because that is all I wear. Browns, neutral's creams golds yada yada. Some would say I am a "fall" color palette. (Bahahaha story for another day.)

Anyhoo, you best be gettin yourself some fancy mono scarfs. I know what all my friends are getting for Christmas. Oh man, yes I did, I just mentioned Christmas in September. AHHHH

In other news, a cinematographer I am NOT. 

But hey It's a work in progress. I have been wanting like a little theme song, entry thingy if you will for all of my tutorials. So I got crafty. 

Note: Yes I filmed this short snippet at work, on my lunch break, as a test. Ha. My ten minute lunch break that is. I want to pull my hair out. le sigh. 

Note to self: increase audio of me next time. Ehh, you live you learn yes? (you are gonna have to turn it way up when I start talking kids.) Also, pretend you don't see that extra apostrophe in "tutorials" HA HA HA. I am so flighty sometimes...

LouLou Love Life Update.

Yoooou guessed it.

Well it wasn’t a shock to me when the most responses to my “what do you wanna know” questions centered around my love life. HA.

I get it. I know what I do to you guys, I introduce someone, he is around for a few posts and then he’s gone and you are like say what… what happened to that one guy?!?

I so sowwy. 

It’s just hard, this dating thing. 

Hence why I usually don’t even mention da boys on here, cause unless I am sure they are gonna be around for awhile, it just causes too much confusion, ya feel me?

So let’s get down to the bottom of things here.

Y’all asked about Adam. The sweet, amazing guy who took me to Meet Miss Underwood. Remember him? Look at those dimples by the way ;) Yes he is a cutie.

 Well Adam and I have been friends for a long time, since the high school days. And we are still friends now. Things just didn’t work out, like they don’t sometimes. Which was unfortunate, because he is a wonderful person, and I adore his family!  But he has moved on and is happy now. So I am happy for him. :)

Then there were some questions on this guy. Remember him?

 Oh what’s that, you don’t remember him? Maybe that is because he was in and out so fast I almost forgot his name. Kidding, but he did pull a fancy shmancy disappearing act, and is apparently now dating some “total opposite of LouLou” kinda girl if you know what I’m sayin… perhaps of the gold digging variety? Hey, I am just telling ya word on the street…. ;) He also de-friended me on facebook. WHAT? Who does that? haha, my theory you ask? He was already seeing other Miss-already-been-divorced-twice when he started seeing me... hence the shade ball de-friend move. I'm thinking I dodged a bullet on this one...

Then there were some questions about Sir Edwin. Remember Mark? 

Sweetest thing. We had a lot of fun together. Possibly our biggest problem? We spent too much time going out and tearin’ up the bar scene, instead of genuinely getting to know each other I do believe. We still talk, and are still friends. Very happy for that, because I really enjoyed Mark! Wonderful guy. 

A lot of you will probably be like who is this next kid?

But in the spirit of updating on boys I have blogged about, I figured I would include him. Insert Lance. I haven’t spoken to Lance probably in almost a year, and that my friends, would not be my doing. But I guess I get it. Sort of.  But I will say this: I have never been the type of person to not remain friendly with people that I have dated, and that have been a big part of my life. However I suppose some people are different. If you need that refresher… here ya go. He is happy now, and from what I can only assume, is probably not far off from some bling bling if you know what I am sayin. And I do wish him the best. :)

Then there were some questions about Reed. Remember him? 

You better remember Reed cause I have talked about him a lot! HA. Well he is like in a weird way 98% the reason I started blogging, and ironically he doesn’t even really like my blog, ha. Oh well, funny the way things happen sometimes. Anyways, we really don’t talk much anymore. I think it needed to be that way. He came home this past Christmas, and that is the last I saw him. It was pretty clear things were just not going to work out, and I knew in my heart that the only way we could both move on is to just not talk for awhile. He called a few weeks ago when my papa died. Which I really appreciated. 

Do I still love him? I think I always will. 

Do I feel like we had closure? Not sure I ever will. 

I still talk to his mom and sis all the time, I love love LOVE them. Even though I don’t think I will ever be a part of their family, they are so much a part of who I am and I am so thankful to have them!

ANNNND last but not least.

The clutch guy, as y’all have so endearingly named him. HA.

The story was straight out of a movie am I right? The secret admirer clutch to work, etc. He was straight out of a fairy tale too might I ad. One of the most genuinely nice, giving people I have ever met. He would always show up with a gift, flowers etc. We went out for a few weeks, and I had a great time with him. He is SO sweet, and so caring, but sometimes it just isn’t all there, and it wasn’t for me. Not every story is a love story, and this one unfortunately didn’t play out the way y’all probably wanted it to, ha! So sorry to disappoint! But I will say this, we will probably see him on TV one day… he is super involved with EVERYTHING. So if in ten years you hear me say, “OMG… that man running for president… THAT’S the clutch guy” don’t be alarmed.

Ello love bugs. Long weekend again, UK game and we celebrated the 6th anniversary of Chrissy's 21 birthday. ;)

The Red Dress Boutique, and the fabulous Kickoff Cutie!

Hey girls! 

Fall in the Bluegrass means FOOTBALL tailgating! woo hoo! I was determined this year to assemble the perfect army of UK dresses for tailgating season, and so far, I would say it has been a success. 

While searching for UK blue dresses, Jen told me about the Judith March Kentucky Girl dress, and I found it on the most adorable website, Red Dress Boutique. Ohmaword y'all, the cutest dresses ever!  Diana, the owner, is just the sweetest thing. She also showed me their new website, Kickoff Cutie, where you can select your school and voila, instant dresses in your teams colors! Ummm HELLO girls, that makes finding game day attire SO easy am I right? RIGHT. 

This weekend I debuted my brand new Judith March, Kentucky Girl dress form The Red Dress Boutique. TELL me this dress doesn't have PinkLouLou written all over it. 

It fit like a dream, I didn't even have to wear a bra with it because it was made so nicely. Just throw it on and go. Bonus? Roomy A-line shape is perfect for long days of perhaps one too many cocktails ;)

AND it has pockets, because you know I have to have my cell phone on me at all times. 

I feel like this is one of those classic dresses I will keep for years, and wear once a season on gameday.

The Royal Blue Dress

Hey girls!! Long time no talk. Check out this PRECIOUS royal blue dress I scored myself. 

Jen emailed me to tell me I must get it for UK games. Umm YES PLEASE. 

It comes from the cutest online shop called Adabelle's Fashion Lounge. Have you all checked it out? Because I promise you want to. They have tons of cutey dresses, all so reasonably priced. Here is a link to the royal dress, in case you UK girls need to get you one as well ;) 

Well, once it came in I of COURSE got too excited, and decided I couldn't wait for game day to sport my cute little royal blue number. So I wore it to a wedding last weekend, ironically on our first home game day. Gotta support the kitty CATS even at a wedding am I right?

The Hot Chick

This weekend I got to meet… are you ready for it… 

THE Rob Schnieder.

Now you may remember Rob Schnieder from any number of his stellar films. "You can do it… You can do it all night" anyone? Well this weekend he was in Lexington doing stand up and I have to admit, it was HYSTERICAL. I got hit with the lolz many a time during his show. He is just SO animated, and his impersonations are SPOT on. 

My favorite part of the show? When he did Jessica, from The Hot Chick. Omaword yall. Tears. I was ROLLING. 

If you have not seen this movie, well I am sorry because it is hands down one of my favorite movies, like ever. I am actually wondering why I am admitting this publicly, but eh, I'm going with it.

Now, I know you are thinking, that I am THE only person who actually bought this DVD, and you might be right. But color me pink when Rob Schnieder signed my copy, and called me and my sisters "The REAL hot chicks" I was in celeb heaven.

He was SO nice, thanked us each for coming and was extremely sincere and sweet. Very refreshing. I wanted to put him in my Louis and take him home with me, because let's face it, he would have fit. 

I would also like to report, that Sadie is back in the nook. All is right again.
