Simply Flawless wedding weekend!

I suppose I had my first "official" Simply Flawless client this weekend. My friend Davis got married, and she looked stunning. Girlfriend is absolutely gorgeous, so my job was easy ;) 

ps, got my new business cards! aren't they presh? Designed them myself of course ;)

The wedding was gorgeous, and an absolute blast. My roomie Brian gave Davis a run for her money in the bride department ;) 

Davis and Adam, you two are just precious, and I am so happy for you both. And of course, what Kentucky wedding would be complete without the Makers Mark grooms cake.

I leave for NYC on Wednesday, woop woop! Talk soon lovelies.

Erin Condren day!

So my Erin Condren planner finally came. YAY! Really, it was right on schedule, but I was just very impatient. I would log onto FedEx every morning to gauge it's process. But it is HERE and I LOVE it! 

Great packaging, EC. Thumbs up ;) 

YES those are personalized stickers you see above. Some are for when I babysit my girls, some for girls cocktail nights, weddings, UK games, pedi's you name it! Love that personal touch!

I may or may not have gone through the entire thing, marking down birthdays with the precious birthday stickers provided. 

Also, a folder, and a zipper pouch are in the very back of the planner, to keep all your little things tidy! Genius!

The only thing this planer doesn't do, is your laundry, or pour you a glass of wine. But I am gonna let those things slide ;)

I know I was late joining the Erin Condren party, but I am here, and I am hooked! No lie- I wanted to sleep with it last night.

Ummm this week has been crazy. Hence lack of my blog presence. 

Guess what miraculously appeared in the break room today at work? a BOX of GiGi's cupcakes. 

Of course I had to have a champagne one, and am now filled with remorse after a google calorie search.

le sigh. (but I did only eat half...)

In other news, how cute is this necklace? I have a pretty aqua one (#3) coming my way! I could not decide on a color because they were all so cute. But I can't wait to wear the aqua one with navy!

You know what I have been having WAY too much fun with? Designing the babies birthday books. Here is a preview of their circus themed pages... So.Stinkin'.CUTE!

love their hearts. They just got back from vacay in Grand Cayman where the whole family volunteered at the Human Society on the island. HOW sweet is that? Such a great idea to do with your kids.

Friday Favorites with the Bargain Blonde!

which I just ordered from Mod Cloth. I mean just look at it. If that ain't a PLL dress, then I don't know what is. 

3. My hairdresser Brittney. 

Yesterday, sissy and I had hair happy hour with Britt, aka the best hairdresser in the world. 

Why do I love Britt?

         

       a. she does great blonde things

       b. she does not judge the fact that sis and I schedule our appointments together and bring wine

       and c. just look at her, she is a doll! She is like Olivia Wilde but hotter. 

4. Baby sis, and her Pinterest application.

Girlfriends has been home for a bit (surprise!) but she leaves again tomorrow. Sadz. Anyhoo, check out this little number she fashioned from an old men's shirt. Pinterest inspired obvi. 

Now you college girls need take note: next time you find yourself shacked up and without a proper outfit, just steal his shirt, and voila. You have a new dress to wear to brunch. No more walk of shame, or breakfasting in your outfit from the night before for you ;) 

not that i ever did that. ever. 

5? there is no five. I am just stalking the UPS man for my Erin Condren planer. It was suppose to be ready by now!

Ginny's engagement party

Hey ladies. 

I had my cousin's engagement party this weekend, and let me just tell you how upset I am that my camera decided to delete the majority of my pics?? So here is all we have...

Wasn't Gin's dress so pretty? It is a LaRoque. Mine however... was the ever fabulous- Forever 21. ;) As were the earrings. (Thanks roomie!) 

Ginny came over pre  engagey party so I could fix her hair. Unfortch- the camera deleted the good pics so all we have are these from my phone which look horrid. So sorry girls, but you can get the idea right? 

I've seriously been running a salon out of my bedroom it seems. HA. Here is the roomies hair before we went out Friday. It's not fair how much hair she has. It's just rude. ;)

So, also, I have some exciting news that I have been hiding from you guys. My website just isn't ready yet because I've been supah bizzay and haven't been able to finish it up. BUT I am excited to tell you that I AM starting to freelance my hair and makeup services here in Lexington! YAYY! Here is a sneak peak at what has been going on...

EEEK! Excited to get this up and running and share my wizardly hair knowledge with all you Lexington ladies!! More to come on all things Simply Flawless ;)

pools, pugs, and ummmmerica.

 I hope everyone had a fantastic fourth! I spent the day lounging in my parents pool, and distributing jello shots. Standard.

I am serious about two things: Pugs, and themed parties. 

Sadie was extremely patriotic. 

 

 

 At one point we had five piggys running around the pool. It was a legit snortfest. I was afraid the poor things were going to overheat, so we cooled them off on a raft. 

Sadie was so proud of her festive attire. As you can see, her friend Twink hit the beer bong a few too many times, and had to take a break. ;)

I think it is just inconsiderate that America's birthday was on a Wednesday this year. I mean, it is just rude. I was a good girl though, and was snuggled up in my bed at my parents by 10:30. However, 7 am still came too early this morning. Successful pool party kids.
