I'm baaaaaack!

Back from Florida kids.  The past few months of my life have been prepping for our annual convention for work, and I am now extremely happy to say it is BEHIND me! I was in Orlando for 8 days, and while it was fun, it was also plain exhausting. I didn't have any down time to squeeze in any QT with my Orlando based blog buddies, tear :(

But the good news is I survived, and I somehow managed to get use to my 4 am wake up calls ;)

Pre-trip, I got the cutest new bag from Marley Lilly, and it was the perfect carry-on and catch-all to tote with me to the convention center every day.

My work buddy (and real life buddy too!) Ellen got one also, because we are THAT cool. ;)

While working in FL, I got to meet Fluffy, the alligator...

and these little guys from Despicable Me! Aren't they precious??

I wore my hair up everyday (it was just easier that way) and of course I documented for you girls!! ;)
I had no idea what I was doing here, but it turned out kinda cute I thought??
I liked this one too, I started with a messy bun, but curled my hair first and just kinda let it do what it wanted to do.

Luckily I had my hair all fancy this day, because about an hour before our awards dinner I was told I got nominated to be Vanna White and deliver awards on stage. UMMMM, hello anxiety! I didn't trip or do anything super stupid, so I guess I did alright.

This is the only pic I found of me actually on stage, HA! It was so nerve racking!!

Afterwards, with work friends :)

We FINALLY made it to the end of a very long week, and of course, celebrated with a cocktail (or two?) ;)

Once I got home, I spent my first day back relaxing at my sissy's, and finding my calm again by playing with her hair and makeup. It's a zen-like state for me.

How pretty does she look?!

I thought this little bow was so stinking cute :) there is a tutorial on Pinterest somewhere...

Anyway, I am so happy to be back, and for things to FINALLY calm down. Maybe ;)

OH-Also- Family Feud was last night, and omaword, it was ridiculous. Recap for those of you who missed it coming tomorrow!

Hi, my name is PinkLouLou.

well hey there. This feels slightly odd. Blogging. HA.

No secret I have been a leeeeeetle bit MIA. Well... its been a crazy couple months people.

It all started (the stress fest that is) when I said to myself "you know what PLL... you should buy a house". Little did I know how stressful THAT whole shebang would be. It was all well worth it in the end, because we are finally getting settled, and loving the new PLL palace.

Then came the holidays. And work. This past week I put in 54 hours... and that was having Monday AND Tuesday off. I digress.

Busy season kids, I leave for Orlando next week for work... so no stopping yet.

Anyhoo, while things have been 100% loco land over here,  I finally have a second to catch my breath, so I wanted to say hi. I misses you!

I have been working on the house a bit when I can. Luckily I have Sadie and Bella to help me with all things home improvement.

And who knew spackle was pink? imagine my surprise when I discovered this fact ;)

I successfully hung some pictures AND two curtain rods. One on an actual window, and the other behind my bed... just for fun. It's coming together, but very slowly.

I got that cute graphic gray and white rug at Garden Ridge for $100, in case any of you bargainistas need one too.

I need suggestions for fabric for these chairs. I haven't found anything I like, and quite honestly I am not sure what to go with? The rug is so graphic itself, not sure if I want a printed fabric, ya know? All you  home decor divas, help a sister out and be my stylist sil vous plait.

And yes those ARE pug bookends you see on my mantle! from zgallerie, but I can't find the specific link! How chic are these ladies?
I mean really, those are fantastic.

What else, what else...

With the new house came some new neighbors, whom I quite fancy.

Bar nights with neighbors turn into 6 am dance party in my kitchen, because we are 21. ;)

New Years was spent with some friends. Nothing crazy, but fun nonetheless!

And yes I did steal Chrissy's white blazer from above. We recycle. ;)

(ps hey Whitney! So good seeing you!)

OH. And remember how I said we were on family feud? Well I was beginning to think myself that I made it up, until I got this proof from the show! You may want to stay tuned on January 28 (cough cough) if you want to see me embarrass the bejeezus out of myself on national television.

Ha, I just realized you can see the scores at the commercial break in the pic above. I DO think we managed to score some points... at some point? I don't know I blacked out. ;)

That's all I got right now kids. I am sorry I have been such a sucky blogger, but sometimes life just gets in the way. I am excited for things to slow down and get back to normal! I miss you girls!!

Pug and LouLou out.
